Our mission

Re-instate the services Darfur lost.

More than two decades of civil war wiped out Darfur State's basic infrastructure. Our mission is to help re-instate essential services and needs across five areas — funded by our community here in Edmonton and directed to where they're needed most.

Wheat harvest, representing agricultural and food security support

Food security

Getting reliable food supplies and agricultural support back to families and communities who lost consistent access during the war.

Community water pump in Darfur

Water supply

Restoring wells, pipelines, and clean water access that were damaged or destroyed during two decades of fighting.

Rural health centre building

Health care

Supporting clinics with medical supplies and staffing so basic, reliable care is available again to local communities.

Students and a teacher in a classroom

Education

Helping reopen schools and get books, materials, and teachers back into classrooms across the state.

Workers installing a solar panel

Electric power supply

Rebuilding local power infrastructure so homes, clinics, and schools can run reliably day to day.

Every focus area needs support.
